Released Chibok girls

21 girls released by the  Boko Haram sect have arrived at the Presidential Villa, Abuja to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari

The 21 girls recently released by Boko Haram sect have arrived at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where they are expected to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The girls who were led into the Villa by the Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, arrived with their parents and family.
Presently they are being screened at the Banquet Hall of the State House from where they would be taken into the inner precinct to meet with the president.
The 21 girls who were abducted in April 2014 by the Boko Haram were released last week following negotiations with the Nigerian government.

However it is not yet clear if the meeting is only with the parents of the 21 released girls or all the parents.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari is currently chairing a meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, at the council chamber of the Villa.
In another development, one of the rescued Chibok girls said the Nigerian Air Force should stop the bombardment of the Sambisa forest, the notorious stronghold of the deadly Boko Haram sect.
According to her, the remaining Chibok girls in captivity are located there and the army may kill them instead of the insurgents. Gloria, one of the girls, reveals this in a personal explanation to the senate leader Ali Ndume when he paid a visit to the released girls.
