The Joint Task Force has recorded another accomplishment through its Operation Delta Safe as it thwarted an endeavor by a few aggressors to take an oil control unit.
The JTF said its agents at FOB FORMOSO repulsed an endeavor to vandalize and take the control unit from a well head in Nembe brook, Bayelsa East senatorial area.
The Vanguard reports that this episode corresponded with the assaulting of the Bukuma Jetty in Rivers state by officers who captured three presumed activists and one Cotonou watercraft loaded down with illicitly refined mechanized gas oil.
